Randy "Scoot" Shelnut Jr. & Stewart Varnado, holding
their awards from the U.S. Gospel News Awards at the Southern Gospel Music
Fan Fair. They won Favorite Band, and Stewart's recording "The Southern Gospel
Players" won Favorite Album of the Year!

Jonathan sang for many years with the Melody Boys Quartet from Little Rock,
Arkansas. He and his family were in Pensacola on vacation this summer and
stopped Stewart's house to cut a watermelon!

August 13, 2005, in Metropolis, IL.

Chocolate Grand Piano made especially for Stewart! Given
to him by Martha Bormann (promoter of the Metropolis, IL, concert). This
concert was the 12th Annual Benefit concert for the American Cancer Society,
and was the third time for the Dixie Echoes to be a part.

Stewart Varnado & Grant Frederick. Grant is a 13 year old pianist from
Alabama. He was one of my students when I taught at the Steve Hurst School
of Music this past summer. Grant is an excellent young pianist and plays
the old convention style!
