Stewart Varnado and his former pastor Ron Ledford.  At the end of September, the Dixie Echoes sang at Stewart's home church in Franklinton, LA, at the homecoming, and the guest speaker that day was the former pastor who was at the church while Stewart was growing up in Louisiana.


At a recent Dixie Echoes concert in Fellsmere, FL, the church had this cake made, and we had to get a photo of it, since we had never saw anything like it before.  The picture was done in icing...completely edible!


Backstage at the Washington Parish Free Fair in Stewart's hometown of Franklinton, LA, he poses with Mark Fain.  Mark currently plays the bass guitar for Ricky Skaggs, but Southern Gospel Fans will remember Mark for his years with Gold City, the McKameys, and the Singing Americans.


From L-R: Ed Enoch, Stewart Varnado, Ed Hill... Also on the program that night in Franklinton was Ed Enoch and Golden Covenant.  This made two weeks in a row that Stewart got to visit with these guys, as the week before, they were on the same concert together in Indiana.
